Since all the skill training programs are easily employable and marketable, majority of the trainees are getting decent wage-employments both in organized and unorganized sectors, within hometown or at cities/metros. With strong industry collaboration, the Institute is able to provide placements to almost everyone trained in the campus. On the other hand, some of the trainees opt for self-employment, especially in respect of garment related trades. In respect of the trainees at extension training center, the focus is mainly on promoting self-employment or wage-employment within the hometown and majority are able to start their own micro-enterprises soon after the training. As per the post training monitoring survey reports, more than 70 percent are ether employed or self-employed. However, it may be submitted at this juncture that all the current skill training programs are aimed at SSC, Intermediate, Degree and Diploma/ITI candidates and thus the placements are primarily at entry level.
